Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the Service.

Account information. When you sign in via LinkedIn OAuth, we receive your name, email address, profile URL, and profile photo. We do not receive or store your LinkedIn password.

Voice profile data. Writing samples you provide — including existing LinkedIn posts, answers to onboarding questions, and content you create within PostHub — are used to build a personal voice profile. This is the core of how we generate content that sounds like you.

Content data. Posts you draft, edit, schedule, and publish through PostHub, including any source links, ideas, and content plans you create.

Usage data. How you interact with the Service — features used, pages visited, time and frequency of activity. We use PostHog for product analytics.

Device and browser data. Browser type, operating system, timezone, and IP address. Collected automatically for security and to optimize your experience.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the Service — generating content in your voice, scheduling posts, managing your content
• Build and maintain your voice profile for personalized AI generation
• Send your content and voice data to AI providers for the purpose of generating drafts
• Publish scheduled content to your LinkedIn account
• Send transactional emails (scheduling confirmations, failures)
• Improve the Service through anonymized, aggregated analytics
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

PostHub uses third-party AI services to generate content. When you use our content generation features, your writing samples and prompts are sent to one or more of the following providers:

• Anthropic (Claude) — for content generation and voice matching
• OpenAI (GPT) — for content generation
• Google (Gemini) — for content generation

These providers process your data according to their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We select providers that commit to not training their general models on customer data sent via their APIs.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• AI providers — as described above, to generate content in your voice
• LinkedIn — to publish content you schedule through the Service
• Infrastructure providers — AWS for hosting and file storage (images, documents), PostHog for analytics
• Legal compliance — when required by law or to protect our rights
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Your data is stored using industry-standard security measures:

• Database hosted on encrypted PostgreSQL infrastructure
• Files and images stored on AWS S3 with encryption at rest
• All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS
• LinkedIn OAuth tokens stored encrypted

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Specifically:

• Account and profile data — retained until you delete your account
• Voice profile data — deleted within 30 days of account deletion
• Published content — retained for your reference; you may delete individual posts at any time
• Analytics data — retained in anonymized, aggregated form indefinitely

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — update or correct inaccurate information
• Deletion — delete your account and associated data
• Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Revoke access — disconnect LinkedIn integration at any time through your LinkedIn settings
• Opt out — opt out of non-essential communications

We use essential cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We use PostHog for product analytics, which may set cookies to track usage patterns. We do not use cookies for advertising.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this policy.

PostHub is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
